The Evolville team consists of researchers from the Image Ville Environnement (LIVE) Laboratory of Strasbourg University and the CNRS: ecologists Audrey MURATET, Laurent HARDION, Alejandro SOTILLO, and François CHIRON, who specialize in community ecology and population genetics; research engineer Étienne CHANEZ; geographer Kenji FUJIKI, who specializes in the study of human population density and mobility; and ecologist Adine HECTOR from Strasbourg Eurometropolis.

Geographers Anne PUISSANT and Pierre-Alexis HERRAULT, who specialize in geomatics and image processing at the Image Ville Environnement Laboratory, are also contributing to this project. This project is being carried out in partnership with the Botanical Garden of Strasbourg University Frédéric TOURNAY, Collections Manager; Christophe GASS, Team Leader; and the entire gardening staff). The Autonomous Port of Strasbourg, the Alsace Aero Club, the Alsace Conservatory of Natural Areas, the housing developers Ophéa, In’Li, and Habitation Moderne, SPL-2 Rives, the cities of Bischheim and Schiltigheim, and Eurocorps are also involved in this study by providing access to their plots and sharing information on their management. The project receives financial support from the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, the Urban Environmental Workshop Zone (ZAEU), and the University of Strasbourg. The layout of the EvolVille reports and the design of the EvolVille logo were created by Marie Pellaton.
